We have packed over 10 years of experience and knowledge into each class which cover a variety of fire performance techniques and safety.

Everything is done according to personal confidence and comfort level.

All classes are tutored by our experienced and safety conscious teachers. All fuel, gear and safety equipment is provided.

Places limited to 10 participants per workshop.

Fire Performance Workshops are based in Glasgow at The Arches. Future workshops may start in other cities if demand requires it.

Introduction to Fire Performance - Next dates to be announced

This series introduces the art of fire eating, fire breathing, body burning (fakhir) and fire safety as well as teaching students how to understand their fuels and be safe while performing with fire.

Fire Performance Skills - Next dates to be announced

These workshops introduce new skills and techniques in fire-breathing as well as working with Fire-Fans, Poi, Clubs and Staff.

NOTE: You must have completed Introduction to Fire Performance to attend this course.

Advanced Fire Performance - Next dates to be announced

This final series of workshops will cover the advanced techniques of the professional fire-performer as well as teaching students how to build and maintain their own gear, risk assess venues and gigs and find work as a trained fire-performer.

NOTE: You must have completed both Introduction to Fire Performance and Fire Performance Skills to attend this course.

1. Enrolment in each class is limited. Applications will be accepted in the order they are received. In the event that Rhymes with Purple must cancel a class due to lack of interest, the student will be offered the choice of enrolment in another class or a full refund.

2. Payment is due at or before the first class meeting.

3. Registered students who withdraw one week before the first class meeting will receive a full refund. Students who withdraw prior to 72 hours of the first meeting will be refunded 70% of their couse fee. NO REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE WITHIN 72-HOURS OF THE FIRST CLASS.

4. Rhymes with Purple reserves the right to dismiss from the course any individual whose behaviour is disruptive to the working of the class.

5. Participants will be asked to sign a waiver stating that they understand that no assurance guaranteeing their safety can be made and that they agree to hold RHYMES WITH PURPLE PRODUCTIONS, the TUTORS, OTHER STUDENTS, and VENUE MANAGEMENT & STAFF completely harmless of all liability if they sustain any injuries.
