As part of our remit of supporting the arts in Scotland Rhymes with Purple provide a photography service for actors, models, performers and the public at extremely reasonable prices.
All headshots are digital images taken in high resolution and cropped to 10x8, the industry standard for Spotlight and casting agencies. Full copyright is released to the model for all the packages below. This means that you may reprint the photos as often as needed and use them for any purpose you require.
Basic Headshot Package - £50
* A photoshoot with up to 100 photos taken.
* One image of your choice digitally retouched and resized to 10x8 emailed to you within 24 hours.
* Disc including retouched image and all photos taken and one 10x8 print of retouched image posted to you within one week.
Basic Headshot/Portfolio Package - £80
* Two hour session with up to 300 photos taken.
* Headshot and full body shots taken.
* Two costume changes allowed.
* Three images of your choice digitally retouched and resized to 10x8 emailed to you within 24 hours.
* Disc with retouched images and all photos taken and one 10x8 print of each retouched image posted within one week.
Full portfolio Package - £120
* Three hour session with up to 500 photos taken.
* Five costume changes allowed.
* Ten images of your choice digitally retouched and resized to 10x8 emailed to you within 24 hours.
* Disc including retouched images and all photos taken posted to you within one week.
Prices are dependent on shoot location. Prints of photos can be arranged at a small extra cost. Make-up artist can be arranged at extra cost.
Shoots can be at your home or the photographers home in the West End of Glasgow; easily accessible from Glasgow city centre by Bus and Subway or any other location.

Please Note: All photoshoots require a £20 deposit at time of booking which will be refunded when full payment is received. Full payment must be paid on the day of the shoot before photography begins. Deposits will not be refunded if photoshoot is cancelled by customer within 3 days of agreed date.
All models may bring a chaperone to the photoshoot.
What should I expect at my photoshoot?
We'll discuss what you want from your photos (how you want to look and what the photos are for etc) and chat about how we'll achieve this.
What if I'm uncomfortable?
I will take as many photos as necessary to get that perfect shot so don't worry. I'm very experienced and will do my best to make you feel at ease.
What should I wear?
That depends on what you want from the shoot but ideally; avoid busy patterns, spots, stripes and too many sequins or gemstones (unless that's the look you're after!). if you'll be nude for the shoot; bring a robe you can wear between poses and avoid wearing overly tight clothing/underwear on the day as it marks your body.
Will you do my make-up?
No. I can arrange a professional make-up artist at extra cost if needed. However, if you have a bit of a shiny nose; I've got some powder.
What if I have a spot/dry skin etc?
I'm happy to photoshop out any spots, blemishes or scars but I won't photoshop out anything that's permanent (tattoos, etc) unless specially requested.
Can I bring a friend for support?
Of course.
When will I get my photos?
You will have your chosen photos emailed within 24 hours and a disc of the whole shoot posted within 1 week (you can be given a disc on the day but it won't have your chosen, photoshopped pics on it)
Can you do prints for me?
Unless it's as part of a specific package, then, normally, no; this is how I keep costs down. You can get prints done at any photo developing shop or online (they're quite cheap). I'm happy to recommend a few.
Why don't you have a studio?
Again; it's to do with keeping costs down. If I paid rent on a studio, it'd make your photoshoot more expensive. This is all about giving people professional photoshoots that can normally cost up to £500 at a fraction of the cost.
So, make a lot of money doing this?
Not for myself - RWP Photography is part of Rhymes with Purple, a non-profit making theatre company and all money from these shoots (after costs) is donated to the company to finance their productions.
What if I want to do something strange/kinky/explicit or weird?

Perceptions
A Photographic Exhibition by RWP Photography
How are we judged by others? On what do we base our first impressions?
Is it by a persons face? Gender? Occupation? Beliefs?
Do you judge a person by their name? What if you hear their name before you see their face? Do you decide what
they should look like by what they do for a living? Could you look at a person and guess their politics, religion or fears?
I will take 100 random people and take three photographs of each:
Their face; their genitals and their signature.
Each model will fill in a 100 question survey about their life, attitudes, experiences, beliefs and politics.
The images will be exhibited in random order along with various statistics sourced from the questionnaires but with
no indication which names fit what facts or which genitals belong to which faces
Imagine seeing a hundred faces and then a hundred photos of the most intimate part of their bodies.
Then you see a list of 100 names and occupations. Interspersed throughout are statistics:
27 of the 100 have never been on a plane 4 of the 100 have been married twice
6 of the 100 have taken part in group sex 32 of the hundred dont believe in a God
You dont know which facts, which jobs, which names apply to which face so how do you perceive these people?
By their face? Their sex? Their job? Their name?
Can you stop yourself trying to match up all the images and information youve been given to just one face?
Info for Models
Thanks for your interest in being a part of the Perceptions Project.
The photo shoot will consist of two pictures being taken: one shot of your head and shoulders and one shot of your pubic area. The head shot will be colour and the other, black and white.
For the shoot:
•Please only wear as much make-up as you would normally wear.
•Pubic hair can be at your normal Sunday best but please have it as you normally would (dont shave it all off or trim a shape unless you normally do so).
•Several shots will be taken for each photo - this is to ensure a good, clear picture and avoid having to ask any models to come back.
•You do not have to be fully nude for the genital shot but you will need to be bare from your knees to your navel (bellybutton).
•Your shoulders must be bare for the headshot.
•You will sign your name with a black marker on a sheet of paper which will be photographed later.
•You will be given the questionnaire which you should answer as honestly as possible (your name will not be attached to the questionnaire and there will be no way to link you to your answers). You can choose not to answer any of the questions you dislike.
•You will also be asked to sign a release form that allows the photographer to exhibit the images in a gallery and publish them as part of this project.
Please Note: Each image will be completely anonymous - members of the public will have no way of specifically identifying which pictures match up to which occupations, names or statistics. This information will only be held by the photographer and will not be supplied to the gallery. Models can be any age (18+), race, body type, gender, etc. The shoot can take place in your own home or in the Photographers studio in Glasgow.
You are welcome to bring a friend/partner/chaperone along.
