2026 Fringe
Services

For your fee of £5,500 you receive the following:

  • All Production Services listed on this page

  • All PR & Marketing Services listed on this page

  • Advice and support for the duration of the contract

  • 24/7 Troubleshooting at Fringe

  • Your show on 'RwP Presents...' 60"x40" posters across Edinburgh

  • 10,000 double-sided A6 flyers

  • 100 A3 posters

  • Print and distribution of up to 50 A3 posters across Edinburgh in late June

Initial Consultations

  • Discussing your goals and objectives for the Fringe and building a strategy to achieve that goal 

  • Assist in creating a realistic budget for your show at Fringe

  • Advise and assist on crowdfunding/fundraising plans

    • Note: This is for general advice only. Directly writing funding applications and pursuing sponsorship on behalf of the client will be charged at a separate day rate on agreement with the client

Venue Applications

  • Advising on venues and identifying spaces suitable for your show

  • Compiling show and company information for venue application including assisting in creating show copy and descriptions

  • Sending initial expressions of interest to venues

  • Creating profiles on relevant application portals

  • Applying to venues on a ‘first/second/third choice’ basis depending on your preference

  • Following up applications with venues as required and appropriate

  • Negotiating venue contracts where required

  • Advising on ticket pricing if appropriate

  • Signing contracts on your behalf if agreed in advance

Logistics

  • Assisting with the booking of travel and transfers to the Fringe (at cost to client)

  • Assisting with securing accommodation for the duration of the Fringe run (at cost to client)

  • Locating and securing any local services, purchases, or hires (at cost to client)

  • Assisting with booking any freight or transport of set, props, and equipment (at cost to client)

  • Arranging Public Liability Insurance as required for the show (at cost to client)

  • Arranging Employers Insurance if required for the show (at cost to client)

  • Arranging any other insurance - Cancellation, Equipment, Health, etc as required (at cost to client)

  • Negotiating and resolving any issues or concerns that arise with the venue or Fringe Society

Administration

  • Creating show profile on EdFringeware

  • Registering show with the Fringe Society (at cost to client) - note: this may be facilitated by the venue 

  • Creating a profile for the show on Fringe Marketplace

  • Submitting poster and flyer designs to venue for approval

  • Arranging visa documentation for international performers

  • Assisting with Foreign Entertainers Tax documentation if required

  • Creating Risk Assessment documentation for the show

  • Creating Fire Assessment documentation for the show

  • Creating relevant policies - Environmental Policy, Child Protection, Audience Release, Code of Conduct, etc if required

  • Submitting any music licensing documentation as required

  • Submitting PPL and PRS declarations as legally required by Fringe 

  • Monitoring sales and setting up ticket reports

  • Arranging any ticketing deals or discounts with venue and/or Fringe Society

  • Sorting complimentary tickets as required for press, industry, or company guests

Producing

  • Using our database of industry professionals who regularly attend the Fringe, RwP will liaise with the Fringe Society to confirm which agents, producers and bookers will attend the Fringe and do the following:

    • Compile a spreadsheet of those who may be interested in programming your show or creating further opportunities post Fringe

    • Email each contact on the spreadsheet with a targeted, personal invite including PR, images, and show availability

    • Follow up with further emails and phone calls as appropriate

    • Compile a list of all contacts who attend your show during the Fringe run

    • Contact each booker immediately post their attendance of the show with an invite to meet at their convenience to discuss opportunities

    • Contact each booker on the spreadsheet immediately post Fringe regardless of whether they attended the performance to start a dialogue on booking the show or discussing opportunities in the future

    • Compile a final spreadsheet of bookers and promoters and their status/position regarding contacts, attendance and dialogue to be passed to you post Fringe.

  • Attend relevant networking events on your behalf

  • Advise you on relevant networking events you should attend and support as needed

Marketing

  • RwP provides a dedicated Press & Marketing Coordinator who will act as the main point of contact for all press enquiries

  • Compile a PR proposal for your show identifying the selling points and marketing strategy

  • Advise on final design of marketing materials

    • Note: RwP can provide full graphic design of marketing materials at no extra cost

  • Compile a suitable press pack for your show including writing a Press Release

  • Submit press release to venue and Fringe press offices

  • Compile and host an Electronic Press Kit for your show on rhymeswithpurple.net for access by press

  • Meet with Editors and Reviewers to promote RwP’s portfolio of shows

  • Distribute show press release to all relevant media with invites to review

  • Follow up with emails and phone calls as appropriate

  • Compiling all published reviews for archive

  • Advise and assist on any large-scale promotional marketing (foamex boards, billboards, targeted print, etc)

  • Advise and assist on any media advertising (TV, radio, online, etc)

  • Manage online marketing and promotion for client, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc (at cost to client if applicable)

  • Dealing with printers in the UK and ordering posters/flyers/merch (at cost to client)

    • note: we negotiate excellent rates for this which are often considerably cheaper than your venue’s preferred printer.

  • Taking delivery of all marketing material and merch at RwP’s office in Glasgow before delivering to both you and your venue as appropriate

  • Managing pre-Fringe postering team (at cost to client)

  • Dealing with city wide poster distribution via Out of Hand Ltd (at cost to client)

  • Managing a Flyering Team (at a cost to client)

  • Updating posters with review notes and star ratings as required
