Case Studies
Rhymes with Purple was asked to create a classic big-top circus show for Underbelly's Great Christmas Carnival at Newbury Racecourse.
We dipped into our little black book to cast a selection of spectacular circus performers and presented up to 3 shows a day for 6 weeks over the Christmas and New Year period.

We were offered a free reign to create an innovative outdoor event for children aged 5-12 and came up with a sci-fi themed interactive adventure where children learned space skills and solved puzzles.
At the end of the experience, each child was given the chance to face-off against the evil Empire and heroically defeat the bad guy.

When Scotland's biggest music festival invited RwP to pitch a new idea, we came up with The Cabaret Tent - 4 days of circus, comedy, and variety in the heart of the event.
We were proud to be a part of bringing cabaret and circus to an entirely new audience and worked with DF concerts for 4 years. Sadly, T in the Park closed it's doors in 2016.

When Rhymes with Purple was approached to create a high-end circus cabaret for a Glasgow gallery's pop-up event in an historic building, we jumped at the chance.
Working with some of the best cabaret performers in the world, 'Dirty Little Secret' turned out to be an incredible show that people still talk about to this day.

Kilmarnock's 'Killieween' celebration is one of the biggest events of the year and Rhymes with Purple was tasked to make the 2024 event bigger than ever. We created the Sinister Circus, a family-friendly promenade performance featuring 60 performers and actors that stretched through the town centre which we lit with over 300 lights.

Empire Social Club was a community-led performance by over 50's created by Rhymes with Purple as part of South Lanarkshire Council's 'Young At Heart' programme. We ran a series of performance workshops to help create an evening of variety, comedy, and music held at Rutherglen Town Hall where over 30 'mature' performers got the chance to take to the stage.

Scottish Circus School, Aerial Edge approached RwP to lead on the creation of their student showcase. We ran a series of workshops and devised 'Noir', a 20's themed show featuring murder, femme fatales, double-crosses, and spectacular circus perforances. We were then invited back the following year to work with the next batch of up and coming stars.
