The Language of Dreams:
A Crash Course
The REM Doula
A lively revue, led by the REM Doula (publisher of DreamDoctor.com) and his team of REMniacs, blends sketches, songs, multimedia, game-show parodies, improv and audience interaction to explain and illustrate the five key principles of dream interpretation, which will be put into practice using audience dreams to reveal the logic, symbolism and insights of a language we all speak when asleep. Both entertaining and empowering, the show is designed to give the audience the tools and confidence needed to interpret their own dreams starting that night. It's symboler than you think!
Fleming Theatre at theSpace @ Surgeons' Hall § 20:35 (60min) § 17-29 AUG (not 23)

At the heart of the show is the work of celebrated dream expert Charles McPhee, whose practical and accessible approach to dreams inspired creator and performer George Oliva to bring this material to the stage. Rather than treating dreams as mystical nonsense or abstract theory, This show argues that dreams are logical, learnable and deeply personal, reflecting our feelings, awarenesses and thoughts in ways that are often symbolically rich, startlingly honest, and surprisingly useful.
Funny, fast-moving and full of theatrical invention, the show moves from musical numbers and comic sketches to live dream interpretation, showing audiences that the language of dreams is not only real, but it’s a language we all already speak in our sleep.
