Gail Thomas is a writer, performer, lawyer, filmmaker, storytelling coach and Moth StorySLAM winner. Her work spans live storytelling, comedy, voiceover, film and television, with credits including RISK!, The Story Collider, The Crow, John Cameron Mitchell’s Anthem: Homunculus, Angelo Rules, Beavis and Butt-Head, Law & Order: SVU, commercials, video games and short film. Her comedy short My BFF won Audience Favourite at NYC New Filmmakers. In Patient 13, Thomas brings her skills as a storyteller and performer to a sharply funny, deeply personal account of cancer, intimacy, boundaries and her participation in a groundbreaking FDA-approved psilocybin study for cancer-related anxiety and depression.
