You’ll be hiring a lead producer who has been producing their own work as well as working with international companies at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2005 plus a team made up of Fringe veterans who have been performers, directors, playwrights, front of house, venue managers, and flyerers.
We’re there to do more than keep the wheels turning. We help shape the whole Fringe strategy around what success actually means for your show, and work hard to deliver whether that’s audiences, industry attention, future touring, or simply making sure the experience is worth your time and money. That means honest advice, realistic planning, and telling you when we think something won’t work rather than agreeing politely and sending an invoice.
We can work with up to 15 shows each year but we pride ourselves on having a personal connection to the work we produce by only working with shows (and people) we love. Last year, we met with 32 companies hoping to work with us and took on 10 of those to present at the 2026 Fringe plus one support show.

1. Tell us about your show
You drop us a line. Send us the basics: what the show is, who’s making it, where you are in the process, and what you might want from the Fringe.
A script, trailer, work-in-progress video, reviews or previous production material all help if you have them.
5. we recommend a package

2. initial FREE consultation
We’ll talk through the show, your goals, budget, experience and what success at the Fringe would look like for you.
This is also a chance for you to work out whether you like us. Producing relationships are easier when everyone feels that they can get along and share trust.
6. we send you a PROPOSAL
You’ll receive a written outline covering:

3. we get to know the show
If you’re looking for Full Production or a support package, we’ll want to see the show or enough material to understand it properly.
We’re not looking for perfection. We’re looking for work that excites us, artists we believe in, and projects where we think we can genuinely find success.
7. you secure your place
For Full Production or Support a retainer normally confirms the booking and becomes part of the total producer fee.
Once the contract is signed and payment arrangements are in place, you’re officially part of the RwP Fringe season. From here on in, we're making it happen
4. we decide if we're a fit
We only produce shows we love.
That doesn’t mean every show has to match our personal taste. What matters is that we believe in the work.
We also consider if the project is realistic, properly resourced and compatible with our values.
8. we work together!
Then the real work begins.
We enact the plan, work to your priorities and start moving the project towards Edinburgh, with the level of involvement determined by the package you’ve chosen.
